We choose the purest and most nourishing ingredients that we can find. Many of our ingredients come directly from Mother Nature, like the organic sweet potato, turmeric, and cranberry you’ll find in our premium soft chew treats.
Our Primova products never contain phthalates, parabens, harsh chemicals, or any other “extras” that could be harmful to your pets or the environment.

We believe in sourcing our ingredients in sustainable ways that serve this Earth. That’s why we partner with manufacturers who produce Glucosamine with a breakthrough ecological process called “Direct Fermentation”.
To put this in perspective, the old method of Glucosamine extraction produces a mind-blowing 460 tons of waste water, whereas the new method of “Direct Fermentation” produces only 10 tons of waste water.
This game changer process generates 98% less waste water than a traditional glucosamine extraction process directly from shellfish.
The wastewater disposal has been an ongoing problem for years because the majority of manufacturers couldn’t afford the proper water waste treatment. As a result, the water waste was dumped in the environment on a consistent basis.
On top of that, the shellfish population has been decimated over the years. We want to promote the long-term sustainability of these beautiful creatures, that’s why we source our ingredients ethically.
That’s just one example. We also use organic and all-natural ingredients in our other products whenever possible—and we’re constantly working to ensure these ingredients are also sourced in ethical and sustainable ways.
No Animal testing ever.
We think it’s important to live in harmony with all the creatures who share this planet. That’s why we never test our products on animals.

We believe in reducing our environmental footprint in as many ways as possible. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to do the same.
That’s why all our Primova jars, bottles, and containers are easily recyclable, so you never have to throw them away.
Shipping materials that preserve the Earth.
Serving the Earth means protecting our oceans and lands from excess waste. We chose our eco-friendly shipping materials specifically for this purpose.
When you order Primova, you’ll receive your items in either a biodegradable, recyclable envelope, or a recyclable box. We even use biodegradable materials INSIDE our boxes to protect your purchases.
The end result? You can either recycle these shipping materials or compost them. Either way, they will not end up in a landfill anywhere.
